In Final Fantasy VII Remake, side quests offer a great way to earn valuable character progression items while exploring the vibrant districts of Midgar. One of the most memorable Odd Jobs in Chapter 14 is titled The Power of Music, which takes place in Wall Market. By helping a young girl named Betty lift the spirits of local residents through music, players can unlock unique rewards to empower their party.

Starting The Power of Music Quest

To initiate this side quest, players must navigate to Wall Market during Chapter 14, titled "In Search of Hope". Located near the jukebox in a small side street behind the local restaurant, a young girl named Betty requests your assistance. She asks Cloud to locate three specific music discs scattered across the area to help cheer up the disheartened citizens.

Locating All Three Music Discs in Wall Market

The first disc, "Good Night, Until Tomorrow," can be retrieved by visiting the hotel near the entrance of Wall Market. Head inside and speak with the elderly man standing opposite the reception desk to receive the song. Finding all three music tracks required for this objective is a straightforward process once you know where to search.

For the second disc, titled "Fight On!", head toward the Corneo Colosseum. Enter the main venue and purchase the track from the souvenir shop vendor located left of the elevators for 50 Gil. The final track, "Stand Up," is hidden in a narrow alleyway directly to the left of the Honeybee Inn entrance, where talking to a young woman will yield the last disc.

Completing the Jukebox Objective and Claiming Rewards

Once all three music discs are secured, return to the jukebox where Betty is waiting. Interact with the jukebox and play each of the newly acquired songs to trigger special reactions from the surrounding townspeople. Watching the community respond to the melodies completes the emotional arc of this short questline.

As a reward for your efforts, Betty will gift you the Sharpshooter's Companion Vol. III manuscript. This consumable item permanently grants 10 Skill Points (SP) to Barret Wallace, allowing players to upgrade his weapons and enhance his combat capabilities. In addition to the manuscript, completing the quest fully restores the party's health and magic points.
